A middle class Delhi boy, who lost his parents when he was young, comes along to Mumbai and ends up becoming one of the world’s famous actor- Shah Rukh Khan! It’s difficult to absorb, a boy who used to sleep on the roads of Mumbai now owns property worth 1000+ crores across world. He is a personification of someone who has made it on his own. He proves to the world that one can be very successfully without a family name or wealth or a godfather.

SRK has come very far from where he started with the TV serial “Fauji” in 1988. He made his film debut in 1989 and the turning point came from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayege in 1995. He has hosted popular TV show “Kaun banega Crorepati” and owns Kolkata Knight Riders, Indian Premier League. He endorses brands, does TV shows and liver performances too. He also owns Red Chillies Entertainment and keeps himself occupied with myriad set of creational activities.

On one of his TV interviews with Anupam Kher, he remembers one of his conversation with his father, in which his father asked- What you want to do in life? He replies- not sure. Then his father said, at your age, I would have crossed mountains, but “Jo kutch nahi karte, wo Kamal karte hai” (Those who do nothing, they do magnificent”)
